Stepjan Sejic just posted a fantastic write up about comics, the dire need of preorders and how quality and critical success do not equate to numerical and financial success. It REALLY strikes home as we set out to launch a new creative universe with Guardian Knight Comics (launching this August). I'll share the link to his journal, it's a bit of a read but if you have any interest in comics its a wealth of information. Please read it, and please support and spread the word about comics you love. I have a plan to start trying to post more regularly about some of the stuff I'm reading (or read) that I've enjoyed. When the June issue of Previews comes out I'll let you all know what and where to pre-order our titles. Enjoy!

now, as i work predominantly for independent companies, my work can be a bit hard to get.
reason for this is a simple one. comic book stores buy their supplies from diamond. the main distributor.
they buy stuff they know will sell. comics
Needing a comic artist
Searching for a DEPENDABLE comic artist for a paid position. Starting with a 6 page short story, with potential to expand into more work. Preferably someone with some experience drawing story pages for publication, but not required. Pencils and inks or TIGHT pencils. Do not need a pinup artist. Do not need an inker.
